These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the MR & MISS NACOMES voting platform. By registering as a contestant, voting for a contestant, accessing this website, or using any service connected to the competition, you agree to follow these terms, the instructions published by the organizers, and any official updates announced before or during the competition.
1. Eligibility and Registration
Contestants must provide accurate personal, academic, contact, and profile information during registration. The organizers reserve the right to verify all submitted information and may reject, suspend, or remove a contestant whose details are false, incomplete, misleading, duplicated, or inconsistent with the requirements for the selected category.
Registration does not automatically guarantee final approval. A contestant may be required to complete payment, provide additional verification, or satisfy any screening requirements set by the organizers before appearing publicly on the voting platform.
2. Voting Rules
Votes are recorded through the official voting channels provided on this website. A vote is only valid when the payment or voting transaction has been successfully confirmed by the payment provider and recorded by the platform. Failed, pending, reversed, disputed, or fraudulent transactions may not be counted.
The organizers may audit votes at any time. Votes suspected to be connected to fraud, chargebacks, payment abuse, unauthorized access, automated activity, or any attempt to manipulate the result may be reviewed, cancelled, or removed from the contestant's total.
3. Payments and Refunds
All payments for registration and voting must be made through the approved payment channel displayed on the platform. Voters and contestants are responsible for confirming the amount, selected contestant, and submitted information before making payment.
Payments are generally non-refundable once a transaction has been successfully processed and votes or registration benefits have been credited, except where the organizers determine that a refund is required because of a confirmed technical error or duplicate transaction.
4. Contestant Conduct
Contestants are expected to promote themselves responsibly and respectfully. Harassment, impersonation, abusive language, defamatory claims, vote buying through deceptive means, or conduct that damages the integrity of the competition may lead to warning, vote review, suspension, or disqualification.
Contestants must not attempt to compromise the website, manipulate votes, access restricted administrative areas, exploit technical errors, or encourage others to do so.
5. Organizer Rights
The organizers reserve the right to update competition schedules, voting windows, categories, eligibility checks, judging criteria, advancement rules, final-round procedures, and prize arrangements where necessary for fairness, safety, compliance, or operational reasons.
The organizers may correct obvious errors, resolve disputes, review suspicious activity, and make final decisions on eligibility, vote validity, qualification, advancement, and disqualification.
6. Website Availability
The platform may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, network issues, payment-provider downtime, hosting interruptions, security reviews, or technical problems. The organizers will make reasonable efforts to maintain access, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
7. Privacy and Data Use
Information submitted through the platform may be used to manage registration, display approved contestant profiles, process votes, verify payments, communicate with participants, prevent fraud, and administer the competition. Public contestant information may include name, category, department, profile image, vote totals, and related competition details.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By using this platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not register, vote, or continue using the platform.
